The South African netball team, known as the Proteas, has announced its final roster for the upcoming Netball World Cup. The team comprises a mix of experienced players and emerging talent, aiming to showcase their skills and compete against top teams from around the world.

South Africa has announced the final list of 12 players who will represent the country at the Netball World Cup in Cape Town.
The team, led by captain Bongiwe Msomi and vice-captain Karla Pretorius, includes players like Khanyisa Chawane, Izette Griesel, Phumza Maweni, Lenize Potgieter, and Nicola Smith, among others.
The three reserves are Owethu Ngubane, Refiloe Nketsa, and Lefebre Rademan. Netball South Africa President, Cecilia Molokwane, expressed confidence in the selected players and emphasized the importance of a podium finish as the World Cup will be hosted on African soil for the first time in 60 years.
The team will gather for a final training camp in Cape Town on July 14, 2023, before the tournament, which takes place from July 28 to August 6, 2023, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
