Preview of 2024 Brisbane International

Top-tier tennis action at Brisbane International makes its return to Queensland in 2024. This combined ATP 250 and WTA 500 tournament is set to take place at the Queensland Tennis Centre from December 31 to January 7.

With a record AU$3.1 million in prize money up for grabs, the tournament is poised to attract 180 of the world’s best players to the Sunshine State for a week of intense competition. The men’s singles draw boasts 32 players, complemented by a 24-pair draw in both men’s and women’s doubles.

In an exciting development, the women’s singles draw has expanded from the previous 32 to accommodate 48 players now, offering enhanced competitive opportunities for the leading women in the sport.

Fans can look forward to 14 sessions of high-quality tennis, both day and night, at the picturesque Queensland Tennis Centre during the first week of January.

Situated in Tennyson, Brisbane, the Queensland Tennis Centre features an outdoor hard-court surface for both the ATP and WTA events. The main court, Pat Rafter Arena, boasts a 5,000-seat capacity, extendable to 7,500 with temporary seating.

The Brisbane International will showcase two main singles events – the women’s WTA 500 and the men’s ATP 250 tournament. Tennis enthusiasts can anticipate a star-studded lineup with the presence of legendary Rafael Nadal and world No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka headlining the extraordinary field at the Brisbane International 2024.
